Workshops, lectures, and live cases in complex coronary anatomy

We are delighted to announce the fifth edition of our complex coronary intervention meeting, LUCCA – LUcerne Complex and CAlcified PCI Forum. The program will begin on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Kultur- und Kongresszentrum KKL Lucerne with four dedicated workshops.

Four reasons to attend: focused content on complex and calcified PCI, hands-on learning with live cases, international faculty exchange — and scheduled breaks and lunch to connect with peers.
Learn directly from leading interventional cardiologists from Europe, North America, and Asia, sharing real-world experience in complex and calcified coronary interventions.

Experience live PCI cases, interactive case discussions, and five focused workshops covering calcium management, DCBs, CTO techniques, and hemodynamic support.

Deep dives into heavy calcifications, drug-eluting and drug-coated balloons, CHIP patients, and next-level interventional techniques grounded in current evidence.

Engage in open discussions with faculty and peers in an interactive environment designed to exchange practices, debate challenges, and learn from complications and outcomes.

Feedback from interventional cardiologists and healthcare professionals who attended previous LUCCA meetings.
LUCCA is not a meeting. It's a forum, where we discuss on a peer-to-peer basis and where we learn from each other.
The LUCCA Meeting offers an exceptionally engaging and interactive platform—bringing together experts to share insights and advance the field of complex and calcified PCI.
Grateful to have attended such an outstanding congress on Complex PCI. The sessions were incredibly interactive, the live cases were truly impressive, and the level of discussion and learning was inspiring. It’s a privilege to be part of such a passionate community pushing the boundaries of interventional cardiology. Even more meaningful for me personally is how happy and honored I am to now be part of the faculty. Looking forward to contributing, learning, and continuing to grow together with colleagues and friends in this field

Everything you need to know about LUCCA 6.0 — programme, faculty, venue, and registration.
LUCCA is a focused meeting for interventional cardiologists working on complex and calcified coronary lesions. Three days, live cases transmitted from Luzerner Kantonsspital, hands-on workshops, and direct exchange with international faculty — clinical practice, not commercial booths.
Interventional cardiologists, fellows and cath-lab teams — from Switzerland and across Europe. The room stays deliberately focused: a working audience that discusses cases, not a trade-show crowd. Fellows and nursing staff attend free of charge.
Real coronary interventions performed at Luzerner Kantonsspital and transmitted into the lecture hall in real time — calcified lesions, drug-eluting balloons, and mechanical circulatory support for high-risk PCI. A moderated expert panel works through imaging, strategy and device choice with the operators as each case unfolds.
Yes. Alongside the lectures you work at the station yourself — an intravascular imaging masterclass (OCT and IVUS) plus focused workshops on CTO, DCB and complex PCI. Places are limited and assigned during registration, so book early.
Yes. LUCCA is accredited by the European Board for Accreditation of Continuing Education for Health Professionals (EBAC) — the last edition carried 13 credits, convertible to national CME. - Credit count for LUCCA 6.0 to be confirmed.
In Lucerne, across two venues: the hands-on workshops at the KKL Lucerne on the lakefront, and the live cases and lectures at Luzerner Kantonsspital (LUKS), in the main lecture hall.
Dates for LUCCA 6.0 will be confirmed shortly — the meeting traditionally runs over three days in spring. Register your interest to be notified the moment booking opens.
Registration is online via the ticket link. At the last edition, two days cost CHF/EUR 200 (early bird) or 250 (standard); Friday only 150/200. Fellows and nursing staff attend free.
