We are delighted to announce the fifth edition of our complex coronary intervention meeting, LUCCA – LUcerne Complex and CAlcified PCI Forum. The program will begin on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Kultur- und Kongresszentrum KKL Lucerne with four dedicated workshops.

This year’s program will place particular emphasis on

  • Intravascular imaging
  • Decision making
  • Management of complex and calcified lesions, and new devices in the cath lab, with a special focus on drug coated balloons and mechanical circulatory support.

Lectures, three live cases, discussions and presentations from 08:30 to 17:00 at Lucerne Cantonal Hospital.

The main focus areas are the treatment of severe calcifications, the use of drug-eluting balloons, and haemodynamic support for CHIP patients.

How can I register and what does participation cost?

You can register by clicking on one of the "Buy tickets" buttons and follow the checkout steps. Participation for both days costs CHF/EUR 200 (early bird) or 250 (standard rate); Friday only costs CHF/EUR 150 (early bird) or 200 (standard rate). Participation is free of charge for fellows and nursing staff.

On Thursday at the KKL Lucerne (Europaplatz 1, CH-6002 Lucerne) and on Friday at Lucerne Cantonal Hospital, Main Lecture Hall (Spitalstrasse, CH-6000 Lucerne 16).

What is the best way to travel to the venue?

By car: Sat nav address for the car park – Spitalstrasse 34, Lucerne. By public transport: Bus connections to the KKL and Cantonal Hospital are available.
