1. Organiser and Contracting Party

These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between participants and:

FentEvent GmbH organises the LUCCA congress on behalf of the scientific hosts:

LUKS Spitalbetriebe AG – Luzerner Kantonsspital, Herzzentrum – Heart CentreKantonsspital 37, CH-6004 Luzern, Switzerland. Scientific Direction: Prof. Dr. med. Florim Cuculi (Course Director), PD Dr. med. Adrian Attinger and PD Dr. med. Matthias Bossard (Course Co-Directors)

2. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all registrations for the LUCCA congress — LUcerne Complex and CAlcified PCI Meeting — in all its annual editions, made via the website www.lucca.swiss or by any other means accepted by the organiser. By completing registration, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.

3. Registration

Registration is made exclusively via the online registration form at www.lucca.swiss. A registration is binding upon submission and confirmation by FentEvent GmbH. Confirmation is sent to the email address provided at registration.

Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The organiser reserves the right to limit the number of participants per edition and per workshop.

4. Participation Fees

The applicable participation fees for each edition are published on www.lucca.swiss. Fees are stated in CHF and EUR and are inclusive of the programme, catering as specified in the programme, and congress materials.

The following fee categories apply (subject to change per edition):

• Early bird registration (until the published deadline): reduced rate
• Regular registration: standard rate
• Fellows and nurses: reduced rate, refunded on-site upon presentation of valid credentials

Participation fees do not include travel, accommodation, or personal expenses unless explicitly stated.

5. Payment

Payment is due within 14 days of receiving the registration confirmation, unless otherwise stated. The organiser reserves the right to cancel the registration if payment is not received within this period.

Accepted payment methods are published on www.lucca.swiss. All transactions are processed via a secure third-party payment provider.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@fent-event.ch.

Substitution of a registered participant by another person from the same institution is permitted at any time, provided written notification is sent to info@fent-event.ch before the event. The substitute participant must fulfil any professional eligibility requirements applicable to the event.

7. Cancellation or Changes by the Organiser

7.1 Programme Changes

The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the programme, speakers, or venue without prior notice, provided the overall character of the event is preserved. No refund entitlement arises from such changes.

7.2 Cancellation by the Organiser

Should the organiser be required to cancel or postpone the event due to circumstances beyond its control (including but not limited to force majeure, public health measures, venue unavailability, or insufficient registrations), participants will be notified as promptly as possible.

The organiser accepts no liability for travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by participants in connection with the event.

8. Liability

FentEvent GmbH and LUKS Spitalbetriebe AG shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred by participants in connection with their attendance at the LUCCA congress, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Participants are responsible for ensuring adequate personal travel and health insurance coverage. The organiser does not provide participant insurance.

9. Accreditation and CME Credits

The LUCCA congress is accredited by the Swiss Society of Cardiology (SGK). CME credits are awarded subject to full participation and completion of the required evaluation.

The organiser does not guarantee the award of credits in cases of partial attendance. Participants are responsible for submitting any required documentation to their respective professional bodies.

10. Photography and Recording

The organiser may take photographs and video recordings during the event for documentation, educational, and promotional purposes. By attending, participants consent to being incidentally captured in such materials. Participants who object to being photographed or filmed must notify the organiser in writing at info@fent-event.ch prior to the event.

Participants may not record lectures or sessions without the prior written consent of the respective speaker and the organiser.

11. Data Protection

The processing of participants personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy published at www.lucca.swiss, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions. By registering, participants acknowledge and agree to the processing of their data as described therein.

12. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner throughout the event. The organiser reserves the right to exclude any participant whose conduct is deemed disruptive or inappropriate, without refund.

13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions is Lucerne, Switzerland, unless mandatory statutory provisions require otherwise.

14. Amendments

The organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version published on www.lucca.swiss at the time of registration shall apply. Participants will be informed of material changes by email where possible.
